Bearded dragons are a preferred species of pet reptile. They’re native to Australia and have a lifespan of 8-10 years. Bearded dragons are sexually mature at 1-2 years of age.
The breeding season for bearded dragons is from September to March. Throughout this time, males will turn out to be extra aggressive and territorial. They may even develop a darkish beard, which is an indication of their readiness to mate. Females will turn out to be extra receptive to males throughout this time and can typically show a submissive posture.
