Commander, also referred to as Elder Dragon Highlander, is a multiplayer format for the collectible card recreation Magic: The Gathering. It was created in 2011 by Sheldon Menery and a bunch of different gamers.
Commander is performed with a deck of 100 playing cards, together with a legendary creature that serves because the deck’s “commander.” The commander might be forged from the command zone, which is a particular space outdoors of the deck. When the commander is forged from the command zone, it goes to the battlefield beneath its proprietor’s management. If the commander is put into the graveyard or exiled, its proprietor might pay its mana value and two further mana to forged it once more from the command zone.
