A knuckleball is a baseball pitch that’s thrown with little to no spin, inflicting it to flutter erratically on its strategy to the plate. This makes it a really troublesome pitch to hit, as batters can not predict its motion.
Knuckleballs are thrown by gripping the ball with the knuckles of the index and center fingers, and releasing it with a slight flick of the wrist. The shortage of spin causes the ball to wobble and dart, making it very troublesome for batters to sq. up.
